• You want to convince your Kita, your university, your government agency, your care home - whatever is your institution - to support the demands to the VBL?
  
• Or: VBL does not administer your supplemental pension provision. However, you are member of an association, a party, or a movement which you want to convince to support the demands?

We are no experts but we can share our experiences. Maybe, it works similar for your institution?

1. Find out who represents you or your occupational group (e.g., works council, staff council, representatives of your occupational group, ...).
2. Ask your representative to vote about the institution's support for the Open Letter at the next meeting (e.g., works council meeting, team meeting, Doctoral convent, ...). You can use this sample email. Please find a PDF version of the Open Letter in German and in English on this website. If there are questions or concern, have a look at our FAQs.
   
3. Put your institutions support of the Open Letter to a vote.
4. If your institution has agreed to support the demands: Sign for your institution here and upload your logo, if possible.
5. Inform the local press. You can use this template (in German).
